Off for a vacation

The week of Vacation Bible School is over. It was great! I had so much fun teaching again and being directly involved with the children. I've been in charge the last couple of years, which is good too, but I'd much rather work with the children directly. Overall we had a great week.
Tomorrow after church we take off for vacation with the Smith side of the family. All the brothers and sister will be there with the kids. It's going to be a house full for sure. It's supposed to rain a few of the days, but hopefully that will just get the river up a bit and the floating will be better. I just hope it doesn't rain too much, we can't afford another flood!
The girls are good. Olivia has a bit of a diaper rash - pretty bad a few days ago, but she's doing better now. Kristin loves her short hair and has gotten SO many compliments.
I'm off to finish laundry and start packing for the week. Kristin will be staying with her aunt Sarah and Uncle Jack when we come back at the end of next week. Our house will be so quiet for a few days. I'm sure Olivia will be a bit lonely with out her sister here. We were going to leave Olivia too, but she's still too young.
