Just an Update

We had a nice Thanksgiving break with Randy's family. We got home Saturday which was nice to be home a full day before Randy and I had to go back to work. Today I subbed at the preschool where I start offically on Friday. I'm really excited. I was in the class today that I'll be teaching in and it's going to be a test of my patience for sure. There are a couple little boys in there that don't listen or behave very well. I don't put up with much, but I have to remember these aren't my kids and just be super patient.

My friend Lindsey had her baby today. She was only 37 weeks, but she had been in labor for a week. They had her on full bed rest and had stopped the contractions. Well it's good she didn't wait another 3 weeks. Collin was born at 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 1/2 inches. He did have a small breathing issue, but he's going to be fine. She pushed one time and out came the head! I'll get to meet him tomorrow. I can hardly wait! Maybe that will be a good baby fix for me and then I won't want one.

Randy's truck needed a new battery, so today we were a one car family. That's really a pain! I'm just glad it was just for one day. We are SO spoiled!

This weekend is Christmas on the Sqare in Angleton. For those of you not from here it kind of kicks off the Christmas season around here. I'm doing a craft show all day Saturday and it's supposed be the coldest it's been in months, only in the 50's! I guess it will put me in the Christmas spirit!
