Today is a day to honor our Veteran's! Thank you to all who served our country and allow us the freedoms we have today. My dad is a vet and still today tears up when he talks about time in the service. My brother, Brad, is an Air Force Captian. My brother, Malcolm, served in the Air Force for some time also. I know many others who served and I want to thank each of them for what they have done for our country! The girls and I went to the Veteran's Day parade in our town today. It was really a lot of fun. There weren't very many people there, but you could tell the vets who were in the parade really appreciated us being there. I want my girls to know at an early age what the men and women have done for our country.
On another subject, tonight our Sunday School class got together to play volleyball. Randy had to be at the homecoming dance, so he could go. The girls went to the nursery and I played volleyball. I can still serve overhead and get it over the net most of the time, but I'm sure I'll be so sore tomorrow I won't be able to hold my arms up. My forearms hurt too like crazy. I'm glad it's finally cooled off here so I can wear long sleeves tomorrow since I'm sure I'll have bruses! It was a lot of fun though. I just know I'm feeling every bit of 33 tonight!
Thanks again VETS! God bless America
