Cleaning

My friend Deanna wrote in her blog last week about a mommy measuring stick. I felt her pain about never feeling like you are measuring up. I've spent my entire morning cleaning my house, and there is still more to do. My house really isn't that dirty and my house really isn't that big, but what I mean by cleanngi is really cleaning, not just pick up. Usually when I pick up, I count that as cleaning, but today I got out the dust rag, the mop and 409! All you stay at home mommies know what I mean! I got 2 rooms really done and my daughter Kristin did her room - it's nice that she's 4 and I can tell her to clean her room. It's not nice that it took her as long to clean her room as it did for me to do my living room and kitchen! She can always find something else to play with instead of clean, even though she tells me she's cleaning. Anyway, got all that clean and then here comes lunch time. Ok...so my kids are kids, but for goodness sake, does there always have to be food on the floor right after I mop? It's just crazy. I never get the laundry all done and I always have dirty dishes. Anyone else out there feel this way? I know there are many of you that do! That's enough of my venting, it's off to fold and iron laundry!

No, gosh Anne, you're a slob. My house is ALWAYS clean. I walk around my house daily with the 490...or whatever it was. HA!Last night I had the same freak out about not feeling like I measure up. I was up until about one a.m. cleaning. I can at least say it looks good now!
