It does bring back one of my first memories of Indiana. I think it was the second year we lived there, but my brother Brad and I built a snow Easter Bunny instead of a snow man. Then my mom let us use food coloring on the snowballs we had made to decorate them as Easter Eggs! We can't do that here, but I know there are some places this Easter that could!
We've had a good weekend with my sister in law Sarah and brother in law Jack visiting. It was a last minute decision for them to visit, but it's been good. Kristin and Olivia LOVE their Aunt Sarah. She's SO good and patient with them. It's nice to have extra help around too. She lets Krisitn sleep with her and last night she even let Olivia.
On Friday we had our city wide Easter Egg Hunt. The cities puts out about 10,000 eggs. They then divide up the field by age group. In the eggs there are 5 that have papers in them that are the Grand Prize. Well, Kristin got one! She was super excited. The prize was $20 to WalMart, so we had to go today to get something. She couldn't wait to spend her money. She got a scooter - she's pretty good at it too. It has Dora on it, so of course Olivia thinks it's hers. That's been a bit of a problem, but so far Kristin's done a pretty good job sharing. It's Olivia that just won't give it back!
When the girls do finally wear their Easter Dresses, I'll take pictures and post them.
Until then here are a couple from before the hunt on Friday.
Most of all during this time of year remember:
HE IS RISEN!
HE HAS RISEN INDEAD!
