Olivia's Birthday

It was about this time of day 2 years ago that I was in the middle of labor. It was pretty easy labor actually since I didn't feel anything! Olivia was born around 4pm after just a few hours of labor. I remember dropping Kristin off at a friend's house and heading to the hospital with my dad and Randy. Yes, my dad was there for the entire thing. For some of you that might seem a big strange, but when Kristin was born, my dad had pink eye and wasn't even able to come see her at the hospital, so this time he wasn't going to miss a thing! I was really glad to have him there too. I remember seeing the tears in his eyes when Olivia was born. He's SUCH a proud grandpa! I also remember when he left to go back to IN, he said, "Thank you for giving me another beautiful grandchild." My dad is a special man!
Two years later and Olivia is such a gem!! She's so big, and really learning SO much. She can count to 10, knows alot of her colors, and can actually count in Spanish to 5. She recognizes her name and can spell it with help. She got rid of the pacifier a few weeks ago and is starting to sit to the potty. She loves Dora and being outside. I think french fries, hot dogs, and any fruit are her favorite foods. She loves her big sister and wants to do everything Kristin does. She's super stuborn when she doesn't get her way, but then she gives the best hugs too. She's got beautiful blue eyes and great blonde hair. (Can you tell I love my little girl?) Overall, Olivia is just such a joy and I'm so proud to be here mommy!

It's My Birthday!

What a precious child. I miss your girls so much; Olivia is a treasure, and I'm so glad to have been a little part of her life.

Happy belated birthday, Liv-y.
