Olivia, Olivia, Olivia!

You can probably guess who this entry is going to be about!

I'll start with the funny story first. Tuesday night Olivia didn't want to go to bed, so I layed down with her and she said, "pee-pee potty." I didn't really believe her since we aren't really trying to potty train, but I decided why not. Well, she really did go on the potty! She was excited as was I. So I take her to the kitchen and give her the mini M&M's that she knows she gets if she goes on the potty. So, I get her back in bed and she's not happy. Just a couple minutes later she says, "pee-pee potty, 'gain." I'm thinking, yeah right, but she wouldn't stop saying it, so I decided ok, why not. So we get back to the potty and she went again! I was surpised, but thought since we are in the very early stages of potty training she probably didn't realize what it felt like to go all at once. So, we get done and go back to the kitchen for more M&M's. While she eats them I go watch a little bit of the NCAA softball finals. She comes out to the living room and wants to sit in her chair and really doesn't want to go back to bed. I picked her up and started to rock her. Not 2 minutes into me rocking her she says, "mommy, pee-pee potty, 'gain." By now Randy's laughing because of course he's not involved helping with the potty time it's all mommy. Since we don't want to discourage her, I take her again. This time I put her on the big potty and of course she doesn't go, but after about 30 seconds of sitting on the potty, she looks at me with this cute little smile and says, "all done. M&M?" It was too much! She was working the system already. She's way to young to be doing that! I just started laughing and told her no. I brushed her teeth and put her to bed!

So tonight, Randy's working on getting the girls to bed and while he's changing Olivia's diaper, she starts to cry. She's getting really mad and just yelling for mommy. I decided just to let him take care of it. So after he's got her changed and her PJ's on, she comes to my room where I'm laying very comfortably in my bed, she starts to cough....I knew what was coming and couldn't stop it. She threw up all over my bed (at least it was on Randy's side! :-) But it was still bad. I'm only awake right now because our sheets and bed cover are in the washer. I guess it will be a late night tonight!

The joys of motherhood!
I love my Olivia!!
