Something to write about

The last few posts have been pretty boring, well this one isn't going to be much better, but I do finally have something to write about.
Randy goes back to work tomorrow :-( We've had the best summer! I've really enjoyed the last few weeks of being home and just hanging out as a family. It's been super nice to be able to go run around and get things done without the girls. I mean Randy's here, so why take them with me. It's so hot and it's not fun to get them in and out of the car all the time. Well tomorrow puts me back to reality. In fact today even Randy went to school, but won't be gone all day. I don't go back to my work until next week and then it's only a couple of days of meetings, but my sister in law, Sarah will be here to stay with the girls. She's SO great! Anyway, I guess I'm just writing to say my fun life of kind of having freedom is back to the reality of work. I know I'm super spoiled to have a husband who's a teacher and has 3 months off each year, but once the school years starts it's all over. There are many days he works 12 hour days - usually at least twice a week. So for those of you out there not feeling sorry for me....feel sorry for me. I know many of you probably feel like your husband is gone all the time too, so I'll feel sorry for you if you feel the same for me :-)
On another subject, my wonderful friend Holly sent Kristin a devotional book about a year ago that is for girls agest 2 - 5. I had put it away and forgotten about it waiting for Olivia to get a little older so we could do it together. At dinner time each night we had been reading a 365 day kid Bible. It was pretty hard for Kristin to understand, but we thought she's getting something hopefully. Last week I found the devotional! We started doing that together each night before bed instead of the other book. Kristin has LOVED it! She's gotten SO much more out of it. The very first night was about selfishness. It was great because the very next day she had a situation where we were able to put being unselfish into practice. Another was about self respect and how she shouldn't let other people push her around, not literally, but when people are being mean it's ok to walk away. That exact thing happened the very next day with some of her friends. It's just been great to see how Kristin is able to relate what we read about, to her everyday life. Olivia on the other hand can't hardly sit still long enough to hear the stories, but that's ok!
Still another subject, but along the lines of Bible Study. I've been feeling the Lord leading me lately to lead a Bible study for ladies at church. I am pretty sure it's something God wants me to do, but I'm still praying for super clear direction. My problem now is, what Bible Study to do. In the past there have been different groups that have done many Beth Moore studies. I've only done one myself, but it was years ago. I know Beth is amazing, but for some reason I'm not feeling like that is the direction I need to go. I'm just at a loss of what to do. So if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them!
Have a blessed day everyone!
