Has Fall finally Fallen?

We've had 2 beautiful days this weekend of almost fall like weather. As long as you are outside before 8 am it's been nice and cool and low humidity. I wrote an entry yesterday morning after my morning run, but my compute froze, so I didn't post it, but I had a great 6.5 mile run yesterday morning. It was nice and cool and just beautiful! I felt great too. After that we headed to the Houston Zoo for the day. It was super busy because of the Haunted Boo Zoo that they put on over the weekend, but we had a great time. It was just a great day to be outside.
I know those of you that live in other parts of the country have had some extreme weather lately, but here in Texas it's just been hot for the longest time. I'm ready for the "fall" that we have here, that just means temps in the 80's not 90's and lower humidity. That's what's coming this next week!

On other news...I just booked plane tickets for our trip to Indiana in February. We usually to go my parents house for Christmas, but not this year. We will go for a weekend trip in Feb. to see my niece Emily is an Opera at Taylor. She's a senior and since I can't go to homecoming this is the next best thing. It's also Kristin's 5th birthday the day we will fly home. We'll party like crazy with grandpa and grandma and home to have a birthday full of snow!!! It's a long time from now, but I can't wait!!!
