I was going to write two posts, but why!?
The first thing I wanted to write about was the wonderful time I had last night with my husband! I love dates. This time we even paid a babysitter. We don't do that very often, but this way our girls were at home. I'm glad we did too because Kristin fell asleep before we got home. We went to dinner at Chick-fil-a because it was free. I got a gift card at Christmas time and one of those crazy calendars! So this month's coupon was a free sandwhich and then we used the gift card to pay for the rest. Then we went to see National Treasure, Book of Secrets. There are not many movies that I've wanted to see recently, but that was one. It was good. I personally like the first one better, but Randy liked this one better. Either way it was still a good movie! It was just nice to be out together and not have the kids. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls and love being with them, but sometimes it's just necessary to have a break!
Now my "second" post. I have 1 week until my 1/2 marathon. Today was a short run (5.2 miles) It's the first time I've run in the rain! It wasn't fun. I started out ok, but then the rain came, and lasted about 2 miles. It wasn't fun after that. The humidity was about enough to kill me. Hopefully next Sunday it will be cooler and much less humidity, but I doubt it. I found out that Holly and I are in the same "wave" (fancy way of saying start time). That made us both very happy. I didn't want to have to try to find her after the race started. If you want to check out the route we'll run go to www.Houstonmarathon.com I'm really excited, but even more excited for it to be over!!! I'll let you know next weekend how I do!

You are such a trooper with your running - my hope is that you can inspire me (when there isn't a foot of snow on the ground) - so glad you had date night too...I love Chik-fil-a and the two strategically placed pickles!
