Garage sale success

Today I took on the task of a garage sale! This is the first time I've done one at my house with no other friends. I didn't think I would have very much stuff, but as I started to look around I had a lot. We had some clothes, mostly little girl of course and just some other small stuff. I did have a few large things, including a double stroller that didn't sell. The lady across the street did a sale today too, so we went in together for an ad. The ad today was in the WRONG section of the paper. We decided to go to the other sales in town and see if they would let us put a sign up to let people know about our sale. That was a HUGE success, if we hadn't done that then we probably won't of had many customers. We ended up doing really well. We do have a few things that will have to go in the trash and some clothes to take to a drop off box, but I made more than I expected, so it's kind of nice to have some extra spending money at the end of the summer!
On Monday my niece Sarah is coming to stay for a week, so we'll get to do some fun stuff!
