I haven't really blogged in awhile. I mean I posted pictures, but that's not really blogging...is it? I've started 3 or 4 notes in the past few weeks, but just haven't come up with anything that's worth posting. So today I sit down to write again and really have nothing new to say. The one new thing is that soccer season is over. I have pictures on my camera to publish, but just haven't taken the time to load into the computer yet. Kristin LOVED this season. She's ready to start again!
It was great having my parents here for the weekend. We didn't do too much out of the ordinary, but it was still nice having them here.
Church continues to consume a lot of my time, but that's good. I'm really enjoying being the children's director and am looking forward to the day that we have a full staff again. Our sr. pastor search team is working hard, so hopefully within the next few months we'll have a new pastor! That will make things so different, but so much better I'm sure.
Last nigh at Awana the children's stuffed 35 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. That is always a WONDERFUL time for the kids! It's a bit stressful for me, but in the end it's just a lot of fun.
We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving break next week. We'll head to Floresville for a few days to see the Smith family. We always have a good time.
Ok...so I guess I had a little more to say than I thought. :-)
