This week's recipe comes a day late because Saturday night Randy and I had a date night!!! Not only did we get to go out with out our children, but we ate for free! We had free babysitting and a gift certificate from the Awana workers at our church, so we were finally able to use it! It was just a nice time for us to be together and enjoy each others company without the girls!
So this week's recipe is:
ABC Casserole
1 lb hamburger meat
1/2 C onion, chopped
3/4 C milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
1 (120z) pkg. egg noodles, cooked
1 C grated cheddar cheese
Brown hamburger meat with onion in skillet. Drain grease. With heat on low, add broken up cream cheese. As it begins to melt, add mushroom soup. Place cooked noodles in 9x13 inch glass casserole dish. Pour meat mixture over noodles and spread. Sprinkle with grated cheese and place in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Serve with French bread and a salad.
This was a new recipe for me this week and it got a 3 out of 4 in our family. Kristin liked it, but Olivia wanted no part of it! Randy and I enjoyed it for sure. You almost can't go wrong with meat, noodles and cheese....even cream cheese. I hope anyone who tries this will let me know what you think!
Enjoy!

Bummer! It sounds WONDERFUL, but with Scott's cheese-deal, I wouldn't be able to get him to eat it! Boo-hiss! I'd love to try it! Maybe someday when I have some girlfriends over.......
