Our trip to Arkansas just reminded me how amazing my family is. It was a long drive to my brother's house on Saturday, but well worth it. We had a good time on Saturday night and Sunday with my nieces and nephews before we even headed to Arkansas on Monday afternoon!

Monday afternoon around 1:30 the caravan of caravan's headed out!

We sent up camp quickly and headed for the awesome Beaver Lake! My kids had SO much fun hanging with their cousins and getting to know them all. I just enjoyed being with my brothers and sisters along with their children. I have amazing nieces and nephews!!

We did get a little bit of rain, but nothing that stopped the fun. We headed to Eureka Springs on Wednesday. It's just a town of lots of shops and hills. We had a good time again as a family.

We stopped at the Christ of the Ozarks and Beaver Dam on the way back to camp. That was a day with out swimming, but we played games that night and laughed and laughed!!

The Christ of the Ozarks (on Josiah's hand)
Thursday was sunny and warm - all day in the water. I even water skiied! I hadn't planned on it, but am glad I did. Thursday night instead of playing games again we sat together and PRAISED the LORD! It was amazing to just sit together as a family and sing songs, quote scripture and just enjoy each other. My brother Brad, the one in the Air Force, summed it up pretty well when he said, " I remember when I was young and reading in the Bible that we would sit around in heaven and sing praise songs all day, I thought how boring. Since then I've done some pretty amazing things, like flying part way around the world, but now that I'm older, there is nothing more I'd rather do than sit here with family and praise the Lord!" It was an amazing time for me to hear my family sitting together singing amazing songs, it was a glimpse of what heaven would be like!

Only an Amazing God could make a sunset like this one!
We returned to TX on Friday around lunch time. My niece Sarah came back with us for the week. We have a busy week planed and then off to Concan with Randy's family! I LOVE summer!
