How many of you have seen the TLC program about the Duggars, the family that now - as of yesterday - has 17 children. They live in a HUGE house, and are debt free. I was just reading on the Discovery Web site about this family. I was wondering if any of you have any comments?
I just don't know what I think. I think it's amazing that anyone would want 17 kids and that they seem like a really amazing family. Then on the other hand do the parents really KNOW their children. How would you be able to spend time with each of them? I know they are homeschooled, which is amazing also, so I'm sure there is one on one time with mom, but I just can't imagine. So...I thought I'd just ask the question...what do you think?

Hmmm.... just a few thoughts...
1) Don't they have to stop sooner or later as they will run out of "J" names?
2) Sometimes, I wonder how much they are really parenting.... have you ever seen how they pair an older child with a younger one?
3) I am convinced that they must be debt-free because Discovery gave them their house and filled their pantry!
4) My neighbors have 6 kids.... it makes me sad because she compares herself to Michelle Duggar.
5) Is her uterus made of rubber?!! Seriously! I have 2 babes and have been pregnant 5 times.... I CANNOT imagine!!! The thought of THAT many pregnancies makes me queezy!
To be quite honest, I think that I just don't understand.... my hope is that they ask for God's direction before deciding to conceive each time.... and if God is in it, I guess that I don't get to judge!!! I CANNOT IMAGINE THOUGH!!! In case you were wondering, the Greene's WILL NOT be having 17 children!
