Anne's Kitchen

I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted a new recipe, so here it is. It's over 90 degrees outside, but I made soup today anyway! It's one of our favorites, especially on a cold day.
Taco Soup (Thank you Holly)

1 lb hamburger meat
1 can rotel
1 can tomato sauce
1 can water (use the tomato sauce can)
1 can pinto beans
1 can corn
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pg ranch dressing mix

Brown hamburger meat in soup pan. Drain grease. Add rotel, tomato sauce, water, beans & corn. Do NOT drain liquids from cans. It makes the "soupy" part of the soup. Allow soup to cook a few mintues, then add ranch dressing mix. Make sure to stir continually so as not to allow mix to clump. After all of dressing is added, add taco seasoning the same way. Continue to cook until corn and beans are done.

I sometimes serve this with corn bread, but chips and cheese is always a good side!
ENJOY!
