I love the quote from Anne of Green Gables, "Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it."
That's how I felt this morning after my rather grippy entry yesterday! I decided today would be a better day.
We took today off from church and slept in a little bit. I ran this morning, felt great! There was actually a hint of fall in the air. It was just a hint, but it was still nice. We don't really have fall here. This part of Texas has 2 seasons, Summer and the not so hot months, I can't even really call it winter! Anyway, the run felt great and I didn't have to play mental games with myself today.
I've taken the day off from talking, at least outloud. I've whispered a lot, but that's really about it. I'll wait and see tomorrow if it's made a difference in my voice. Everyone has been really helpful, even though Kristin keeps saying, "huh" after I try to talk to her. I think she's doing it just to annoy me because she always laughs!
Randy went to the Urgent Care clinic today. They gave him a steroid shot. We tried to call the doctor, but I guess he doesn't take calls at home because the message said if it was a medical issue to call the hospital. Randy decided the care clinic was better. He's feeling better and the swelling in his ears and face has gone down. We'll just have to wait and see if the shot is going to be enough or if he'll still have to go to his doctor.
Olivia has gone on the potty all day! She even pooped on the potty this morning! Randy went to the store for me and got the grocerys for the week and Olivia got a new video. I've decided after this she'll have to get a new book or something because videos are too expesive!
So, today was a better day and we'll start again tomorrow with a new day and no mistakes in it (yet) :-)
