Seeing the finish line

Today was my last really long run before the half marathon in 2 weeks. I went close to 12.5 miles. I'm not sure it was exactly that far, but it was far enough. I carried water with me, so I didn't get dehydrated this time. It was cloudy and pretty cool (40's), so I didn't get too hot. It was actually a really good run. I'm pretty sore right now and will be for a couple of days, but I DID IT!!! Can you tell I'm just a little proud of myself. I know maybe I shouldn't be too proud because I still haven't run the race. Next Saturday's run will only be 5 miles and then Jan. 13 (Sunday) I'll be in Houston running the 13.1 miles. I'm just hoping my knees and hips hold out for the entire race - 2 hours of running is a long time!
The finish line is just around the corner!
