We are back in business at Anne's Kitchen! It's been awhile since I've posted any recipes and that's because I haven't cooked anything new. I just got our church's 50th anniversary cookbook. It has over 400 pages of recipes! I'll be making something new a lot more often now! So for tonight I'll post two that I cooked this week. These are things I've made before, but with a twist on both.
Crock Pot Chicken and Rice Casserole
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of celery
1/2 C. diced celery (I actually skipped this because Randy doesn't like celery!)
1 C Rice
Mix all 3 cans of soup and rice in crock pot. Place chicken on top of the mixture. Add celery. Cook on high for 3 hours.
* That's it! Super easy and it was good!
NEXT
Tator Tot Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. Tator Tots
1 can cream of mushroom soup (diluted enough to pour)
grated cheddar cheese
Crumble raw ground beef on bottom of Pyrex baking dish. Place Tator Tots on top. Pour soup on top of Tots. Place grated cheese on top. Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
*This was different than I've made it before because I didn't brown the meat ahead of time. It turned out really good and the girls and Randy loved it!
Let me know if you try these and how they turn out!
Happy Cooking!
