On the Road Again

It felt great to be out running again this morning. I've taken almost 2 weeks off and it was good to be back at it. I noticed as I was running there were orange cones on the road and were signs for a 5K and 10K. I knew there was a race coming up next month, but didn't know there was one this morning too. I found myself on the race course and didn't know it. It turned out I was at the very end, but after awhile was not on the course anymore. It was kind of crazy, but made me want to run again. The problem is that my hip is hurting a lot. It bothered me a bit while I ran, but when I finish it hurts more. I figure as long as I can still walk and am sure to ice it when I'm done I'll be alright! It was just good to run again. I'm not ready for another half marathon, but maybe by next year I will be!
