Day 3 and sadness

Three days into kindergarten and Kristin still LOVES it. Today she told me she wanted to go everyday because it was important to be there, but also because if you go everyday you get your name put into a drawing for a bicycle. I thought that was pretty good motivation.
Of course she's super tired, but we've had a pretty easy week with no activities in the evening. That will change next week with dance, soccer, and Awana. We'll see how things go then!

One sad thing has already happened this school year. Monday night a high school student committed suicide. He hung himself in his garage and his mother found him. He was a junior and in Randy's 7th period class. Randy didn't know him except that he was there the first day of school. His younger brother came to our church for awhile. It's a horrible way to start the year. Please be in prayer for the Casey family.
