It's been a few days since the last post, but not a lot to post about.
Friday Olivia fell at WalMart and smacked the front of her head pretty hard. It turned out to be better than we first thought, but she does have a good bruise!
Saturday Kristin had another soccer game and scored another goal. It was a lot of fun. Then the girls and I went shopping which is always an adventure!
Sunday we went to church and then Kristin had a birthday party to go to. I had a meeting at church and then children's choir after that.
It was not a relaxing weekend, but it was good.
There are a couple things I am asking prayer for:
My sister Susan has epilepsy and will be in the hospital for the next 96 hours (about). She's having all kinds of tests run and they are changing her medicine. It can be a really hard process when they change her meds, so having her in the hospital is the best way to do it. It's just really boring for her, so hopefully it will go well and she'll be out with new meds soon!
My brother Doug will be having a catscan and biopsy on Thursday on his throat. There was some bleeding and a trip to the hospital last week. We are praying for good results and complete healing.
Randy's super stressed at work. The new principal at the high school is kind of lame. She's a terrible communicator and keeps changing things. He continues to get new students 5 weeks into the school year. He's working 2 nights a week until 8, helping with Awana on Wednesday, and trying to train for the half marathon. He needs prayer!
The girls and I are good. I'm busy with planning our fall festival at church, teaching, and other church stuff too. Hopefully we'll have a full time secretary in the next couple of weeks and maybe a new pastor by the end of the year! That would be great. It's been a long time with our interim, he's great, but we are all ready for a full time pastor soon.
That's pretty much it for the Smith Family!
